I signed the book of condolence for Queen Elizabeth II today at Middlesbrough Central Library commemorating her years of devotion and service to her country.

We shall never see her like again. The nation is mourning the passing of our longest serving monarch. Her reign has been a constant for generations and she has been loved and respected by people around the world.

I attended the King’s address to both Houses of Parliament yesterday and I will be in Westminster again on Thursday to show my respect as the Queen lies in state.
