It was a privilege to be part of today’s Laying of the First Poppy Ceremony at the Cenotaph.

As in previous years, there were so many young children from Middlesbrough schools there taking part in the Ceremony to pay their respects.

Our armed forces deserve our gratitude and it was evident today just how well respected our servicemen and women are by young and old alike.
