It was wonderful to be invited to the opening of a Garden of Remembrance at James Cook University Hospital today.
What a fantastic job the volunteers have done in creating such a space for people to be able to sit, reflect and just be.
James Cook has world class facilities with some of the country’s best consultants and surgeons and absolutely wonderful nursing staff. Creating this garden is another example of the care and thought that can make such a difference to a patient’s experience while they are in hospital. I’m sure it will be well used by patients and staff alike – truly well done to everyone involved.
